Plain rooibos

 Rooibos is a reddish bush that grows exclusively in South Africa, on poor, acidic soil and in a hot climate. It is part of the same family as acacias and has thin, needle-like leaves tied tightly to the branches. We mainly use the aerial parts that are the branches, leaves and stem. The harvest takes place a year and a half after the shoot and takes place between January and March. The same plant can live between five and ten years. After the harvest, follow the stages of fermentation and drying.
